There is nothing I find more blissful than the act of creation… that is the manifestation of an idea, dream or vision into being.
I’ve always had a vivid imagination and felt overwhelmed with ideas. Naturally, I found art to be a productive and therapeutic release of this energy. I enjoy creating art that expresses universal aspects of humanity such as beauty, truth and humor. I am intrigued by subjects like dreams, myths and the spiritual journey. Art has been the most intuitive way for me to share what I discover while exploring these subjects.
I work with a variety of mediums, often starting with an idea and then choosing the medium that would best convey the message, although I am open to experimentation. I am especially drawn to sculpture and 3D design as I find the third dimension to be powerful and immersive.
I believe that everyone has the potential to be creative and has something interesting to share. I like to involve the audience with my works when possible. I have accomplished this through art forms, such as performance and installations and I am currently exploring virtual worlds.
